Utah Fertility Center Hires Dr. Erica Louden and Dr. Melinda Henne

Ivy Fertility, a global network of renowned fertility clinics, is excited to announce the addition of Dr. Erica Louden and Dr. Melinda Henne to its team at Utah Fertility Center. Both doctors are double board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology as well as Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. Dr. Louden officially joined Utah Fertility Center on April 1, while Dr. Henne will begin her role as a consulting physician at Utah Fertility Center and its affiliate, Idaho Fertility Center, on May 1, 2025.

Ivy Fertility, a globally recognized network of advanced fertility clinics, is pleased to announce the addition of two highly accomplished reproductive endocrinologists, Dr. Erica Louden and Dr. Melinda Henne, to the Utah Fertility Center (UFC) team. Both doctors are double board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology as well as Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, bringing years of expertise to UFC’s already distinguished team of specialists.

Dr. Louden earned her medical degree from Wayne State University in Michigan, where she also completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Hutzel Women’s Hospital. She further honed her expertise with a fellowship in reproductive endocrinology at Augusta University Medical Center in Georgia. Dr. Louden previously served as the Oncofertility Director at Vios Fertility Institute and comes to UFC from Kindbody in Chicago, Illinois.

Expressing her enthusiasm about joining UFC, Dr. Louden shared, “I’m excited to build families alongside the wonderful team at Utah Fertility Center. UFC’s philosophy of patient-centered care reflects my own values as a physician, and I look forward to being a part of their community.” Dr. Louden’s experience in oncofertility and her passion for providing compassionate, personalized care make her an excellent fit for UFC’s mission to support patients through their fertility journeys.

Dr. Henne, who received her medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina’s College of Medicine, completed her OB/GYN residency at Keesler Medical Center, a military hospital in Mississippi. Following her residency, she pursued a fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at Stanford University. In addition to her extensive experience in the military, Dr. Henne has worked as a reproductive endocrinologist at several prestigious institutions, including the Florida Institute for Reproductive Medicine, Kindbody, and most recently, IVF Florida.

Dr. Henne expressed her excitement about joining UFC as a consulting physician, saying, “Utah Fertility Center is the perfect partner for the next chapter of my career. As a consulting physician, I will work closely with their expert staff to provide exceptional care for families in Utah and Idaho. I am excited to get to know their patients and be a part of their fertility journeys.”

The addition of Dr. Louden and Dr. Henne expands UFC’s team to seven award-winning reproductive endocrinologists, positioning the clinic to meet the growing demand for fertility services across Utah, Idaho, and beyond. With a broader team of specialists, UFC is able to offer more comprehensive care and provide patients with access to a wider range of fertility treatment options.
