Healthmine Appoints Dwight Erskine as Chief Executive Officer to Drive Next Phase of Growth and Innovation in Member Engagement
DALLAS, TX – Healthmine, a premier member engagement and rewards platform empowering health plans to improve outcomes through behavior change and data-driven incentives, today announced the appointment of Dwight Erskine as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective September 15, 2025. Erskine succeeds Bryce Williams, who will remain with the company through a structured transition period before assuming an advisory role. The leadership transition marks a strategic inflection point for Healthmine as it builds on a year of accelerated innovation and market expansion, positioning itself at the forefront of value-based care enablement and consumer-centric health engagement.
Erskine joins Healthmine with over 25 years of distinguished leadership in healthcare technology, operational transformation, and advanced analytics. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President of Enterprise Transformation at VillageMD, a national leader in value-based primary care. In that role, he spearheaded the integration and optimization of clinical operations across VillageMD’s rapidly growing network, enabling scalable, high-quality care delivery aligned with risk-based contracting models. His work was instrumental in streamlining workflows, enhancing provider enablement, and improving patient outcomes—all while supporting the organization’s aggressive growth trajectory.
Prior to VillageMD, Erskine was the healthcare practice leader at Synergetics, a global operations consulting firm, where he advised a diverse portfolio of health insurers, provider systems, and health technology companies on digital transformation, performance improvement, and strategic realignment. His client engagements consistently focused on building resilient, future-ready organizations capable of thriving amid regulatory shifts, payment model evolution, and rising consumer expectations.
Throughout his career, Erskine has been recognized for his unique ability to bridge visionary strategy with pragmatic execution. He is known for translating complex healthcare challenges into actionable roadmaps that deliver measurable impact—whether through reducing administrative friction, improving care coordination, or leveraging data to drive member activation. His leadership philosophy centers on sustainability, scalability, and human-centered design, ensuring that technological and operational innovations genuinely serve patients, providers, and payers alike.
“I’m honored to step into the role of CEO,” Erskine said. “Healthmine is built on a powerful idea—that when you engage people in meaningful ways, you can change their health and their lives. My vision is to build on that idea by expanding our technology, strengthening our partnerships, and empowering our clients to achieve results that matter. Together, we will push beyond traditional boundaries to deliver healthier communities and a stronger healthcare system.”
A Year of Strategic Momentum and Product Innovation
Erskine assumes leadership at a time of significant momentum for Healthmine. In 2025 alone, the company has launched a series of groundbreaking enhancements and strategic collaborations that underscore its commitment to solving some of healthcare’s most persistent challenges—particularly in closing care gaps, improving Star Ratings performance, and driving preventive care adherence.
Among its key 2025 milestones, Healthmine introduced QRM Connect™, an industry-leading, AI-supported patient scheduling solution designed to eliminate barriers to primary care provider (PCP) appointments. By intelligently matching members with available appointment slots and automating outreach, QRM Connect™ has dramatically increased gap closure rates for critical quality measures, directly supporting health plans’ performance in CMS Star Ratings and HEDIS® metrics.
The company also enhanced its in-home assessment connectivity, enabling members to self-schedule at-home visits with ease. This innovation not only improves member experience and access but also ensures health plans receive timely, audit-ready documentation for risk adjustment—addressing a major pain point in Medicare Advantage compliance.
Further demonstrating its commitment to preventive health, Healthmine forged a strategic partnership with Exact Sciences to integrate incentives for at-home colorectal cancer screenings using Cologuard™. This collaboration leverages Healthmine’s behavioral science-backed rewards engine to boost screening rates among eligible members, potentially saving lives through early detection.
Additionally, Healthmine revamped its rewards and incentives platform to enable better coordination between quality improvement and risk adjustment teams. The updated system offers members more flexible redemption options—ranging from gift cards to charitable donations—while meeting the highest standards for data security, HIPAA compliance, and regulatory alignment.
Most recently, the company announced a strategic alliance with Tenasol, a leader in care transition analytics, to accelerate gap closure for two high-impact Star Ratings measures: Transition of Care (TRC) and Follow-up After ED Visit for People with Multiple High-Risk Chronic Conditions (FMC). By combining Tenasol’s predictive insights with Healthmine’s engagement engine, the partnership delivers timely, personalized outreach that drives members back to primary care after acute episodes—reducing readmissions and improving long-term outcomes.
Board Confidence in Strategic Leadership Transition
Charles Boorady, Founding Managing Partner at Health Catalyst Capital and a member of Healthmine’s Board of Directors, expressed strong confidence in the leadership transition. “Under Bryce’s leadership, Healthmine has built a strong foundation and delivered significant value for health plans and members, especially under the intense regulatory scrutiny and change we’ve seen over the last 10 years,” Boorady said. “With Dwight stepping in, we see an exciting opportunity to expand the company’s reach and impact. Dwight brings not just experience, but also the energy and vision needed to reimagine how technology and data can improve lives at scale.”
Bryce Williams, who has led Healthmine through a period of substantial growth and product maturation, will remain engaged during the transition to ensure continuity and strategic alignment. His contributions have been pivotal in establishing Healthmine as a trusted partner for national and regional health plans seeking to navigate the complexities of value-based care.
