Cynergy Wellness to provide clinician oversight of BetterWay™ customer-initiated blood testing orders
Babson Diagnostics, a pioneering healthcare technology company with a focus on science, has announced a collaboration with Cynergy Wellness, Inc., a privately-owned provider of nationwide physician services for workplace screening and consumer health. Under this partnership, Cynergy will offer clinician oversight services for BetterWay™ blood testing orders initiated by customers.
Cynergy’s services encompass state-required prior authorization for customer-initiated orders, test reviews to ensure clinical appropriateness, and results assessment to screen for test abnormalities or critical values. Additionally, Cynergy will provide clinical guidance through follow-up consultations with patients when necessary.
BetterWay blood testing requires only a small amount of blood collected from a fingertip to produce medically accurate results. Since BetterWay does not necessitate a phlebotomist for blood collection, Babson plans to collaborate with innovative retailers to expand blood testing services to pharmacies and other convenient retail locations. The BetterWay test menu covers commonly ordered tests for general health, wellness, and screenings.

Cynergy provides Medical Review Officer expertise to uphold the integrity of the testing process by verifying legitimate medical explanations, ensuring test accuracy, adhering to established policies for patient safety, and facilitating the timely delivery of test results while maintaining confidentiality.
