Zayed Higher Organization (ZHO) and Burjeel Holdings have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at fostering strategic collaboration to advance their shared objectives of supporting employment opportunities for people of determination. The agreement entails offering job placements, training programs, and special discounts tailored to these groups, aligning with Burjeel Holdings’ inclusive policies. This collaborative effort seeks to empower and integrate individuals of determination into the workforce.
The MoU was formalized by His Excellency Abdullah Al Humaidan, Secretary General of Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination, and John Sunil, CEO of Burjeel Holdings, during a signing ceremony held at the organization’s headquarters. The event was attended by key leaders from both entities.
Expressing his appreciation for the partnership, His Excellency Abdullah Al Humaidan emphasized the significance of joining forces with Burjeel Holdings, a renowned provider of super-specialty healthcare services in the MENA region. This collaboration underscores ZHO’s commitment to delivering diverse care and rehabilitation services to its members, in line with its strategic objectives and shared vision of social responsibility. It aims to foster sustainable social development and promote the creation of a healthy, inclusive community, complementing ongoing efforts in healthcare coverage and humanitarian assistance for individuals of determination under ZHO’s care.
The partnership has already yielded tangible benefits for people of determination, including early disability detection services, rehabilitation treatments, and improved access to medical care for treatment and prevention purposes. Additionally, it has facilitated the exchange of technical expertise and training opportunities, enhancing the skills of ZHO’s technical personnel. The broader community has also benefited from enhanced community services catering to individuals of determination in the emirate. Collaborative initiatives, particularly with Burjeel Medical City (BMC), have significantly enhanced the quality of life for people of determination.
One notable initiative is the 3D printing project for orthopedic support, whereby BMC procured products from ZHO’s specialized workshop. This workshop, the first of its kind globally, harnesses the efforts of individuals of determination utilizing the HP Jet Fusion 4200 series printer to create medical supports for limbs via 3D printing.
John Sunil expressed pride in the partnership, highlighting its importance in Burjeel Holdings’ commitment to diversity and inclusion. He reiterated the organization’s belief in the potential of every individual and its dedication to supporting ZHO’s mission of empowering people of determination through meaningful employment opportunities. Together, they strive to cultivate a more inclusive society where everyone can thrive and contribute their unique talents.
