VSee Health, Inc. (Nasdaq: VSEE), known for its telehealth services that optimize workflows and improve patient care, has partnered with Ava Robotics, a leader in intelligent workplace robots. Together, they will develop telepresence solutions for the inpatient ICU market, including a VSee-powered Ava robot that enables healthcare providers to extend their reach and deliver personalized care remotely.
The Ava Robot will operate autonomously within hospital ICUs, enabling skilled physicians to remotely interact with patients, consult with onsite staff, and make real-time treatment decisions. Powered by VSee software, the Ava Robot aims to extend telehealth capabilities beyond major metropolitan hospitals, bringing advanced care to regional and smaller ICUs.
“Telehealth is one of the most significant advancements in modern medicine. Our partnership with Ava Robotics aims to provide world-class critical care to every ICU across the country,” said Imo Aisiku, M.D., co-CEO and Chairman of VSee Health. “By integrating Ava’s robotics with our telehealth solutions, we will expand the reach and expertise of top physicians to patients nationwide.”
Aisiku also noted that this collaboration will enhance patient care, reduce hospital transfers, and lower critical care costs. The first commercial Ava Robot, launched in June, is expected to improve tele-stroke operations, with potential for additional medical applications as its use grows.
