Viruses Neutralized by Electromagnetic Waves: e4life at Arab Health Dubai

e4life will play a key role at the landmark 50th edition of Arab Health, the premier health trade fair in the Middle East. The Italian company will showcase its cutting-edge devices in Dubai from January 27th to 30th, designed to neutralize respiratory viruses in the air (carried by bioaerosols) using electromagnetic waves, effectively rendering them harmless.

e4life is introducing a groundbreaking technology that promises to revolutionize the way we combat respiratory viruses. This world-first solution boasts an impressive efficacy rate of over 90% and delivers an almost instantaneous sanitizing action. Remarkably, it is completely harmless to humans and animals, meaning it does not require evacuation of spaces or environments. This breakthrough has been made possible by an Italian patent and relies on a unique approach that does not use chemical agents or traditional filter materials. Instead, the technology uses microwaves transmitted at a specific frequency and power combination, which creates a “resonance” effect that disrupts the virus’s external envelope, rendering it incapable of spreading.

The core of this innovative technology stems from two years of extensive research, which was partly inspired by studies published by Taiwanese scientists in Nature Scientific Reports during the pandemic. The research explored how electromagnetic fields could be used to deactivate viruses. Initial tests focused on different frequencies of electromagnetic waves, beginning with Covid-19 and later expanding to other coronaviruses. The ability to precisely target specific pathogens is one of the technology’s most significant advantages, allowing it to be fine-tuned to deactivate particular viruses.

The technology has been thoroughly tested and certified for its effectiveness against a variety of viruses, including Covid (including recent variants), Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV), seasonal flu (with efficacy exceeding 95%), Avian Flu, and Swine Flu. e4life is committed to advancing this technology, with plans for further research to combat an expanding range of viruses and, eventually, bacteria.

Currently, e4life offers three main products using this technology. The first is the e4life Personal, a portable, lightweight device weighing just 100 grams and measuring 8.5 cm in height. This device is SAR certified, comfortable to wear, and generates a protective “bubble” with a radius of approximately three meters, inactivating viruses in the surrounding area. The second product is e4life Ambient, a fixed version designed to be installed on ceilings or walls. It covers an area of about 50 square meters, making it suitable for larger spaces. The third product, e4life FARM, is specifically designed for use in livestock farms to combat viral diseases like Avian Flu and Swine Flu, which pose a significant threat to poultry and pigs.

CEO Vincenzo Pompa is enthusiastic about e4life’s participation in the 50th edition of Arab Health, the Middle East’s premier health trade fair. He sees the event as an excellent opportunity for global industry players to experience this extraordinary technology firsthand. Pompa emphasizes that e4life’s mission is deeply rooted in the “One Health” concept, which acknowledges the interconnection between human, animal, and environmental health. The company’s commitment to revolutionizing the biodefense sector is driven by this holistic perspective, aiming to create safer environments where individuals can interact without concerns about viral transmission.

The technology has garnered significant attention and validation from the scientific community. It has undergone rigorous testing and has been validated by prestigious institutions, including the Celio Military Hospital, the independent ViroStatics Institute, and studies published in the Viruses journal and by the European Society of Medicine (ESMED). Additionally, the technology was tested at Milan University’s Department of Biomedical and Clinical Sciences, with results confirming its efficacy of nearly 90%. Further validation was provided by the Bio-Medico Campus at the University of Rome, which collaborated on assessing the technology’s efficacy through its Tissue Engineering and Chemistry for Engineering Laboratory.

The European Commission’s Joint Research Centre (JRC) has also included this technology in its study on improving indoor air quality, further underscoring its potential to enhance environmental health. Most recently, the University of Genoa certified the technology’s effectiveness against Influenza, RSV, and Covid viruses, with a proven efficacy rate of over 90%. An article in Nature Scientific Reports highlighted a study demonstrating the ability of electromagnetic waves to inactivate the avian flu virus, providing another layer of validation for this groundbreaking solution.

e4life’s devices are certified for marketing in several regions, including Europe, Australia, Japan, Singapore, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Morocco, and Egypt. This global reach reflects the widespread recognition of the technology’s potential to transform public health and safeguard against airborne viral transmission.

In summary, e4life is at the forefront of a new era in viral defense, combining scientific innovation with a commitment to public health and safety. With its cutting-edge technology, the company aims to provide a safer, more sustainable solution for combating respiratory viruses, benefiting not just humans but animals and the environment as well.
