Techstars, a leading pre-seed investor, is partnering with Northwestern Medicine to launch the Northwestern Medicine & Techstars Healthcare Accelerator, a new program focused on driving healthcare innovation. The accelerator will invest in promising early-stage healthcare startups, providing founders with the support they need to build high-growth companies dedicated to improving patient care and outcomes. This collaboration combines Northwestern Medicine’s top-tier healthcare expertise with Techstars’ proven accelerator model, which has helped thousands of startups succeed, highlighting their shared commitment to shaping the future of healthcare.

Applications for the Northwestern Medicine & Techstars Healthcare Accelerator will open on August 26, 2024. Six startups will be selected for the program, which begins in March 2025 and will be conducted in-person in Chicago. Selected founders will receive funding, hands-on mentorship, and training, along with access to the extensive networks of both Techstars and Northwestern Medicine. Interested applicants can apply when applications open.
