Sunshine Health Announces Charlene Zein President and CEO

Sunshine Health, Florida’s largest managed care organization and a subsidiary of Centene Corporation (NYSE: CNC), has announced the appointment of Charlene Zein as Plan President and Chief Executive Officer, effective November 3, 2024.

Zein expressed her enthusiasm for the new role, stating, “I’m excited to help ensure that Floridians continue to have access to high-quality, comprehensive healthcare. I look forward to collaborating with our government, provider, and community partners to support individuals on their journeys to better health and wellness.”

Sunshine Health currently provides health coverage to more than 2.5 million Floridians through its Medicaid, Marketplace, and Medicare programs.
