NeuroIntact Inc., a leader in targeted temperature management (TTM) for stroke and traumatic brain injury, has appointed Robert Kline to its Board of Directors. With 25 years of experience in growing innovative companies in the temperature management field, Kline will play a key role in guiding the commercialization of NeuroIntact’s intranasal delivery method for TTM.
Mr. Kline is recognized as a pioneer in targeted temperature management (TTM), having founded Medivance, which specializes in therapeutic temperature management products aimed at improving outcomes in critical conditions like cardiac arrest, traumatic brain injury, and stroke. Medivance was acquired by C. R. Bard (now part of Becton Dickinson) for approximately $250 million in 2011. He also co-founded ViroCyt, acquired by Sartorius AG in 2016 for ten times its revenue, and served as CEO of Bolder Surgical, which Hologic, Inc. purchased for $160 million in 2021.
“NeuroIntact’s non-invasive intranasal delivery technology for cooling the brain represents a significant advancement in TTM, and I’m excited about its potential,” Kline stated. “This method allows for cooling without sedation and eliminates patient shivering, which means it can benefit a much larger patient population than currently treated.”
