Perosphere Technologies Inc., a private medical tech company specializing in next-generation coagulation diagnostics, announced its participation in the 29th ADLM International Critical & Point of Care Testing (CPOCT) Symposium, held September 25-27, 2024, in San Diego, CA. Perosphere CEO Dr. Sasha Bakhru will present on the accuracy and effectiveness of measuring Whole Blood Clotting Time (WBCT) using the company’s innovative point-of-care coagulometer, Perosphere ClotChek™, for patients on direct oral anticoagulants (DOACs) compared to non-medicated individuals. Additionally, a featured poster will detail the in vitro validation of Perosphere ClotChek.

Dr. Bakhru’s presentation, selected as one of the top research abstracts at the symposium, will showcase results from a study evaluating the Perosphere ClotChek coagulometer’s response to DOAC-induced anticoagulation in whole blood samples from patients at peak and minimal anticoagulation levels, compared to results from non-medicated individuals.
