Paige, a leader in next-generation AI technology, has announced that its foundation models will be showcased by Microsoft at the HLTH 2024 conference in Las Vegas. On October 21st, Matt Lungren, MD and Chief Scientific Officer of Microsoft Health & Life Sciences, will host a live seminar discussing how these AI foundation models are driving a transformative wave across the healthcare sector.
Razik Yousfi, CEO and CTO of Paige, will take the stage at HLTH 2024 to showcase Paige Alba, the AI clinical-grade copilot poised to revolutionize diagnostics and treatment in pathology and oncology. He will demonstrate how Alba integrates advanced computational pathology models and Paige’s clinical-grade Diagnostic AI applications with conversational large language models. This innovative approach creates a cohesive, real-time interactive experience for pathologists, oncologists, multidisciplinary clinical teams, and clinical trial management.
“Powerful, versatile models like Paige’s are enabling new possibilities in healthcare—from transforming medical research and drug discovery to redefining patient care and clinical decision-making,” said Dr. Lungren from Microsoft. “These foundation models process and interpret vast amounts of medical data at impressive speeds, accelerating scientific breakthroughs in unprecedented ways.”
Additionally, Paige’s foundation models will be made available with either an open-source license (Virchow) or a permissive, non-commercial license (Virchow2, PRISM) in Microsoft’s Healthcare AI models catalog on Azure AI Studio. This modular, multimodal access allows developers to unlock greater innovation opportunities in the field. More commercial models will soon be available for purchase as well.
Attendees can visit Paige at Microsoft Booth #4004, where they will demonstrate Alba and its Diagnostic AI applications.
