This giving season, we’re proud to highlight the incredible generosity of our employees who dedicate their time, talents, and financial resources to support and strengthen the communities where we live and work. “At Cardinal Health, we have a strong commitment to giving back, and our employees embody this ethos by passionately supporting thousands of charitable organizations worldwide,” said Jessie Cannon, president of the Cardinal Health Foundation.
To celebrate GivingTuesday, Cannon announced that the Foundation will double its match for donations made by employees. “If an employee donates $50, we’ll match that with an additional $100. We encourage our employees to contribute to the causes they care about today,” she said.
In addition, we are proud to announce our annual list of Cardinal Health’s top volunteers. “Volunteering addresses many community needs and has a profound impact,” Cannon said. “In fiscal 2024, our employees dedicated over 54,000 hours to volunteering. According to Independent Sector, the value of one hour of volunteer service is $33.49, which means our employees’ contributions equate to an impressive $1.8 million worth of service to the charitable organizations they support.”
On behalf of Cardinal Health and the Cardinal Health Foundation, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to all our volunteers. “Thank you for your unwavering dedication, both at work and within the communities we serve.”
