Health Future Awards Henry Schein Supplier Agreement for Disposable Skin Stapler and Remover

Henry Schein, Inc. (Nasdaq: HSIC), the world’s largest provider of healthcare solutions to office-based dental and medical practitioners, has announced a new partnership with Health Future, a healthcare consortium owned by Oregon hospitals and health systems. This agreement will see the distribution of Henry Schein’s Disposable Skin Stapler and Skin Staple Remover across Health Future’s network of 22 hospitals, clinics, and other care facilities.

The collaboration aims to improve patient outcomes, streamline procurement processes, and optimize resource allocation within Health Future’s extensive healthcare network. With the inclusion of Henry Schein’s trusted wound closure solutions, the two organizations hope to enhance the efficiency and consistency of care provided to patients.

“Henry Schein’s strong reputation, along with its commitment to innovation and operational efficiency, aligns with our mission to provide quality care to the communities we serve,” said Matt Mikesell, Chief Executive Officer of Health Future. “This agreement strengthens our ability to standardize care, enhance the patient experience, and improve the overall quality of our services.”

The Henry Schein Disposable Skin Stapler is designed for ease of use, equipped with 35 high-quality, 316L stainless steel staples. The stapler features a high stapling speed, allowing for quicker wound closure and a reduced risk of cross-contamination. Its transparent plastic cartridge also offers improved visibility during procedures. Additionally, the Henry Schein Skin Staple Remover is compatible with both regular and wide staples and features a stainless-steel tip. Like the stapler, the staple remover is designed as a sterile, single-use tool, ensuring safety and ease of use during wound care.

The partnership with Health Future allows for the integration of these tools across Health Future’s network, ensuring that wound closure procedures are standardized and performed with high-quality, reliable equipment. This strategic relationship reflects Henry Schein’s dedication to supporting healthcare systems with cost-effective, efficient solutions that ultimately benefit patient care.

“We’re thrilled to partner with Health Future to provide a standardized, streamlined solution for wound closure across their entire network,” said Brian Heyndrickx, Executive Director of Strategic Accounts at Henry Schein. “Our commitment is to help healthcare organizations optimize their supply chain operations and improve patient care. This partnership underscores our role as a trusted partner, helping healthcare providers maintain consistent, high-quality care while reducing complexity in procurement processes.”

In addition to providing high-quality, efficient tools for wound closure, the agreement is designed to simplify procurement, allowing Health Future to easily access the necessary products across its extensive network of facilities. This collaboration will help standardize procedures, providing consistency and reliability in patient care while simultaneously optimizing resource management.
