Fathom Achieves 100% Customer Satisfaction and 90%+ Coding Automation in KLAS Report

Fathom, a leader in autonomous medical coding, announced today that its technology received 100% high customer satisfaction and unanimous validation of its 90%+ automation rates in a recent KLAS Research Emerging Company Spotlight report.

KLAS, a leading healthcare technology analyst, recently conducted in-depth interviews with a diverse group of Fathom’s customers, representing various provider types, specialties, and EHR systems, to assess overall customer experience. The findings confirmed Fathom’s industry-leading performance, with all customers reporting 90%+ successful automation rates, high coding accuracy that meets or exceeds previous solutions, and complete code determination for direct-to-bill submissions.

“Based on our research, 100% of the customers we interviewed expressed the highest level of satisfaction with Fathom’s solution. They also noted that the accuracy and automation rates surpassed their expectations,” said Mac Boyter, Research Director of Revenue Cycle Solutions at KLAS Research. “Autonomous coding with high accuracy is crucial for health systems today, especially as they face workforce shortages in medical coding. Fathom’s AI-powered coding platform helps health systems, physician groups, and other provider organizations address workforce challenges while improving both financial performance and coding accuracy. Nearly all customers in the KLAS report indicated that they “immediately” observed these benefits from Fathom’s technology, including reduced costs, fewer denials, improved revenue capture, and faster cash flow.

One VP interviewed by KLAS stated, “We chose Fathom because it provided the most effective solution for our coding accuracy challenges. We evaluated other vendors but found that Fathom had experience in primary care, where many others did not. Additionally, Fathom’s E/M leveling accuracy stood out, which is critical given the subjectivity in E/M coding.”

Customers in the report also praised Fathom’s customer success and integration teams, describing them as “top-notch” and “highly invested in mutual success.”

Fathom executives, including CEO Andrew Lockhart, will be present at the upcoming KLAS Research Revenue Cycle Summit on Oct. 29-30 in Park City, Utah, to discuss the latest approaches to automation in revenue cycle management.
