Medidata, a Dassault Systèmes brand and leader in clinical trial solutions for the life sciences industry, has announced a four-year extension of its partnership with the European Organisation for Research and Treatment of Cancer (EORTC). This extension aims to enhance patient access to oncology clinical trials, streamline trial participation, and expedite the development of new treatments. EORTC now utilizes 13 Medidata solutions, allowing researchers to centralize and manage all clinical data efficiently, ensuring a seamless trial experience for patients.
Vassilis Golfinopoulos, Director of EORTC Headquarters, stated, “Our decision to expand with the Medidata platform is based on our successful history of collaboration. This partnership will enhance our support for cancer researchers and enable us to explore innovative approaches to managing clinical trial data in the future.”
Janet Butler, Executive Vice President and Head of Global Sales at Medidata, added, “This expansion will improve the clinical trial experience for patients by allowing them to participate using personal mobile devices, while researchers can make quicker, more informed decisions. The addition of Medidata Rave CTMS and Medidata Rave eTMF will help EORTC researchers improve data quality, shorten study timelines, and provide safer oncology trials.”
The extended partnership will also allow EORTC to explore joint research and data collaboration using Medidata AI solutions to enhance cancer care standards.
