Leadership Addition: Nikolaus Trotta, COO and President
Nikolaus Trotta joins Elation Health with over 20 years of experience in healthcare technology, operations, and finance. Previously, Trotta served as the General Manager and Senior Vice President at R1, where he led the Patient Experience Business Unit. He played a pivotal role in shaping the company’s commercial and operational strategies. Prior to that, Trotta co-founded VisitPay, a SaaS company focused on transforming patient billing, which was acquired by R1 for $300 million in 2021. Trotta’s career began in the United States Army, and he now brings his expertise to Elation, overseeing customer service and success as the company scales its impact.
Innovative AI Solutions for EHR Platform
Elation launched the first embedded AI solution for its EHR platform in 2024, making significant strides in integrating cutting-edge technology into primary care.
