Commonwealth Care Alliance and Beth Israel Lahey Health Expand Provider Agreement

Commonwealth Care Alliance (CCA) has expanded its provider agreement with Beth Israel Lahey Health (BILH) to enhance care access for its Senior Care Options (SCO) and One Care members. This expanded network will serve approximately 20 towns and cities in Eastern Massachusetts, from Newburyport to Plymouth, covering over 7,000 practitioners, 13 hospitals, five community health centers, three urgent care centers, and BILH’s primary care locations.

Mark Waggoner, General Manager of CCA Massachusetts, stated, “This expanded agreement with Beth Israel Lahey Health underscores CCA’s commitment to enhancing access to healthcare services for our members. It aligns with our goal to support members’ medical, social, and behavioral health needs through a robust network of high-quality providers.”

CCA’s Senior Care Options (SCO) and One Care plans offer comprehensive coverage, including prescriptions, doctor visits, hospital stays, and community-based support services to help members live independently in their communities. The SCO plan is available to those over 65 eligible for both MassHealth and Medicare, while the One Care plan is for dual-eligible individuals aged 21-64.

The expanded agreement connects CCA members with BILH facilities in Gloucester, Newburyport, Lynn, Boston, Milton, Needham, Plymouth, Beverly, Burlington, Peabody, Cambridge, and Winchester, along with community health centers and urgent care services across various locations.
