Ambetter of Illinois Expands Provider Network with Advocate Health Care

Ambetter of Illinois, a product of Centene Corporation (NYSE: CNC) managed locally by Meridian Health Plan of Illinois, Inc., has announced the inclusion of Advocate Health Care in its network. This expansion enhances access to quality healthcare for members in the Chicagoland area, allowing Ambetter members to receive care at Advocate’s 11 hospitals and over 300 care sites in Illinois, staffed by 6,500 physicians and 11,000 nurses. Ambetter insurance is offered through the Health Insurance Marketplace (Healthcare.gov).

Effective immediately, all Ambetter of Illinois members can access Advocate Health Care providers and services.

Current and new Ambetter of Illinois members can make appointments, find providers, or review their benefits by logging into their accounts at ambetterofillinois.com. This access extends to those who enroll during the upcoming Open Enrollment period for the Health Insurance Marketplace, which runs from November 1, 2024, to January 15, 2025.
