Jacques Gilbert, a seasoned leader with over 25 years of experience across the healthcare, financial services, and technology sectors, has been appointed Chief Strategy and Business Development Officer at Topcon Healthcare, Inc. With a proven track record in driving strategic growth, innovation, and business development for both startups and multinational companies, Jacques is poised to help propel Topcon Healthcare’s growth and leadership in the healthcare space.
Most recently, Jacques served as Vice President of Healthcare Strategy, Partnerships, and M&A at Microsoft, where he played a critical role in expanding the company’s reach in medical imaging and healthcare technologies. His efforts were instrumental in integrating Nuance’s medical imaging technology into Microsoft’s portfolio, which further solidified the company’s position in the healthcare technology market.
In his new role at Topcon Healthcare, Jacques will lead strategic initiatives, develop new partnerships, and explore growth opportunities to strengthen the company’s position in healthcare innovation. He is particularly focused on advancing Topcon Healthcare’s Healthcare from the Eye™ initiative, a groundbreaking connected care ecosystem utilizing oculomics—the science of AI-powered disease detection and management through noninvasive retinal imaging.
