Lyra Health, a leader in Workforce Mental Health solutions for employers and health plans, is pleased to announce that Jennifer Schulz will join the company as Chief Executive Officer and a member of the Board of Directors, effective January 13, 2025. Schulz brings a wealth of leadership experience from her role as CEO of Experian North America, where she successfully scaled operations at the global data, software, and analytics company with a $44 billion market capitalization. During her tenure at Experian, Schulz led a $4.5 billion business with 8,000 employees, driving consistent growth and operational excellence while maintaining a client-first focus. She also spearheaded Experian Health, which serves over 60% of U.S. hospitals.

Schulz is deeply aligned with Lyra’s mission and is recognized for her strong, strategic, and empathetic leadership. She has a proven track record of fostering purpose-driven, high-performing cultures. Additionally, Schulz served as the global lead for Women in Experian and currently sits on the board of Bright Horizons.

“We are thrilled to have Jennifer lead Lyra Health into its next chapter,” said David Ebersman, Lyra’s co-founder. “The last decade at Lyra has been the highlight of my career, and while I’m proud of the impact we’ve made, my family has been grieving the recent loss of one of my sons. It is time for me to step back into a more limited role. I am confident that Jennifer’s leadership will help Lyra reach new heights and build upon the great work we’ve accomplished.”

As Chairman, Ebersman will remain actively involved in Lyra, continuing to support its customers, culture, and strategic initiatives, while partnering with Schulz to ensure a smooth transition.

“Mental health is one of the defining challenges of our time,” said Jennifer Schulz, Lyra’s incoming CEO. “I am inspired by Lyra’s mission to expand access to the highest quality care, and I look forward to continuing to prioritize care quality and client outcomes as our guiding principles.”
