Aetna®, a CVS Health® company, has announced its 2025 Medicare products, focusing on essential benefits that enhance members’ overall health. The offerings include affordable Medicare Advantage (MA) plans featuring $0 monthly premiums, $0 copays for primary care visits, and $0 copays for Tier 1 prescription drugs. Each plan also provides dental, vision, hearing, and SilverSneakers® benefits across all service areas.

In 2025, Aetna will offer various MA products, including:
- Footprint Expansion: Aetna will offer MAPD plans in 44 states and Washington, D.C., increasing access to 662,000 additional Medicare-eligible beneficiaries.
- $0 Premium Plans: Approximately 83% of Medicare-eligible individuals in the U.S. will have access to $0 monthly premium MA plans.
- Dual Eligible Special Needs Plans (D-SNPs): Expanding into new states, Aetna’s D-SNPs provide tailored benefits addressing social barriers, with the Aetna Medicare Extra Benefits Card for purchasing essential items.
- Chronic Condition Special Needs Plans (C-SNPs): Launching in Illinois and Pennsylvania, these plans target members with chronic illnesses, offering $0 copays for primary care and lower costs for essential medications.
- Aetna Medicare Eagle® MA-only Plans: Expanded to 43 states, these plans include additional benefits for veterans, featuring $0 premiums and copays for essential services.
- SmartFit Plans: Targeted at those switching from a prescription drug plan to MA, these $0 premium plans include essential health benefits.

- Convenient Care Access: Members can visit MinuteClinic locations with regular PCP copays, ensuring age-friendly care.

- Home Health Visits: Annual Healthy Home Visits will be provided at no cost, allowing members to receive comprehensive assessments in their homes.
- Fall Prevention Benefits: Plans will include allowances for home safety items to reduce fall risks.

Simplified Prescription Drug Plans
In 2025, Aetna will streamline its stand-alone prescription drug plans (PDPs) into SilverScript® Choice (PDP), available nationwide with competitive premiums and a network of over 63,000 pharmacies.
