Medidata, a Dassault Systèmes company and a leading provider of clinical trial solutions, has announced that Eisai Incorporated, the U.S. subsidiary of Tokyo-based Eisai Co., Ltd., is among the first to implement the new Medidata Clinical Data Studio. This advanced platform aims to transform clinical data management, enabling scalable, complex trials while enhancing patient experiences.
“Medidata’s Clinical Data Studio effectively eliminates data silos and integrates seamlessly with our existing software, preserving the quality and integrity of all data sources,” said Shobha Dhadda, Ph.D., Chief Clinical Science and Operations Officer at Eisai. “The unified technology solution enhances efficiency without compromising on quality or needing additional resources.”
The Clinical Data Studio, part of the Medidata Platform, is designed to improve data reliability across the clinical trial landscape. It integrates data from Medidata sources like Medidata EDC, as well as non-Medidata sources such as lab results and other electronic data capture systems. This integration streamlines data import processes, automates validation, and uses AI to address the complexities of disparate data systems, reducing data review times by up to 80% and providing a holistic view of patient data.
“Clinical Data Studio helps Eisai and its trial stakeholders manage the complexities of modern clinical trials with cleaner, more actionable data,” stated Janet Butler, Executive Vice President and Global Head of Sales at Medidata. “Our AI-driven platform enables faster identification of data issues and offers a clearer understanding of patient outcomes.”
