Medidata, a Dassault Systèmes brand and leading provider of clinical trial solutions, has announced that Eisai Inc. (the U.S. subsidiary of Tokyo-based Eisai Co., Ltd.) is among the first to adopt its new AI-driven Medidata Clinical Data Studio. Eisai will utilize this advanced data platform to gain superior control over clinical data, support scalable and complex trials, and improve patient experience.
Shobha Dhadda, Ph.D., Chief Clinical Science & Operations Officer at Eisai, said, “We’ve integrated Medidata’s Clinical Data Studio into our trial management platform because of its capability to dismantle data silos and integrate seamlessly with our existing software. This integration ensures high data quality and integrity across all sources. The technology’s ability to handle diverse data types enhances efficiency without compromising quality or requiring additional resources.”
Medidata’s Clinical Data Studio, built on the Medidata Platform, is the only unified system that centralizes all data sources, enhancing reliability across clinical trials. It integrates data from both Medidata tools like Medidata Rave EDC and external sources such as labs or other electronic data systems. The platform simplifies data import and automatic validation through configured transfer agreements. AI technology accelerates data review by up to 80 percent and provides a comprehensive, concurrent view of patient data.
Janet Butler, Executive Vice President and Global Head of Sales at Medidata, commented, “Clinical Data Studio empowers Eisai to tackle the complexities of modern trials and improve collaboration with cleaner, actionable data. By offering a unified, AI-driven data management experience, we help study teams identify data issues more quickly and gain a clearer understanding of patient information.”
